Security Lighting

Idaho Falls Power can provide lighting in areas where security is a concern, such as parking lots, storage areas, driveways, and yards. The service provides basic illumination, where the aesthetics of the lighting standards is not of concern. The lights can only be affixed to City-owned poles, and the City retains ownership of all facilities and equipment.

Light Fixtures and Rates

Idaho Falls power installs LED lights for security lights at three different levels of brightness. The lights are equivalent to the following watts: 100-watt, 200-watt, and 400-watt.

The cost for security lighting is $20 per month. The rate includes electricity and maintenance. IFP makes every effort to repair these lights within 48 hours of notification.
